An Easy Way to Clean up Crusted Pancake Mix

If you've ever spilled pancake mix, then you know what a pain in the behind it is to clean up if you don't wipe it up right away. If you wipe it up instantly though, it's a breeze. 

But if you let it sit, it becomes crusted and embedded in your stove and counter tops, damn near impossible to remove. First and foremost to avoid this, if you spill pancake mix make sure you wipe it up right away. 

It's so much easier to wipe up when it's still wet than when it's crusty and dry!

Clean Crusted Pancake Mix by Doing This:

1. To clean dry, crusted pancake mix from your stove first wet the dried pancake mix spot and let it sit for a little while. How long you let it sit will depend on how bad the spot is and how old it is.
2. Once the spot has softened up a bit, wipe and voila, gone. You might have to scrape at it a little with an S.O.S pad if it doesn't remove completely. But that should do the trick.

Your best bet is to avoid the pancake mix drying, though, by cleaning it up right away. Clean it up as soon as it spills to avoid aggravation later! I learned this lesson the hard way.
